The Administration for Children and Families wrote a statement on how Out-of-School-Time (OST) Programs can support pediatric COVID-19 vaccines for ages 5-11. The CDC now recommends that children 5 years and older get the COVID-19 vaccine.

In response, the OST field should help with this effort, being able to provide parents with information. They can encourage vaccinations by raising awareness, identifying vaccination sites, and sharing information about vaccine safety.
