Introducing Key Design Principles into Education
The Learning Policy Institute created a list of five key design principles that can be brought into practice in order to transform site life.
The Five Principles are:
- Positive Developmental Relationships
- Environments Filled With Safety and Belonging
- Rich Learning Experiences and Knowledge Development
- Development of Skills, Habits, and Mindsets
- Integrated Support Systems
Education has been designed for a different time and no longer serves today’s students. Equitable learning opportunities must be ensured, and that fosters on cognitive relationships.
