September 30th is Orange Shirt Day or National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.  Wear an orange shirt on this day to bring awareness to what happened at residential schools in the US and Canada.

Orange Shirt Day hopes to commemorate the experiences that children had at residential schools, witness and honor the healing journey of survivors and their families, and commit to the ongoing process of reconciliation.
