Update to Reporting Attendance for FY20-21

This text provides additional information for inputting your attendance for your After School Education and Safety and 21st Century Community Learning Centers grants:

  • All attendance for all grant categories should be submitted in the After School Support and Information System (ASSIST) in the After School Base Category. The reason for this is that Senate Bill 98 waived all of the requirements for operating hours and attendance requirements for all of these grant components. It is important for the Expanded Learning Division (EXLD) to see the total impact of students served. There will be no grant reductions for any category this year. If you enter a zero in the ASSIST field of Before School or Supplemental, your grants will NOT be reduced.
  • Zero Attendance in the After School Base Category: for those grantees reporting zero attendance, but have expended grant funds; the EXLD will require an explanation in writing to document how the grant funds were expended. If you submit zero attendance in the base grant ASSIST field, your Fiscal Analyst will be reaching out to you to get more details surrounding your zero attendance reporting.

First Semi-Annual Attendance Report (July 1, 2020 - December 31, 2020) and Second Quarter Expenditure Report (October 1, 2020 – December 31, 2020) Released

The following reports are now available in the After-School Support and Information System (ASSIST):

  • First semiannual attendance report (July 1, 2020–December 31, 2020) for the After-School Education and Safety, 21st Century Community Learning Centers (CCLC), and the 21st CCLC High School After School Safety and Enrichment for Teens Program grants
  • Second quarter expenditure reports (October 1, 2020–December 31, 2020)

The due date to submit these reports is January 31, 2021.
