Activate a Movement around Social-Emotional Learning and Character Development

Post

CalSAC established a goal of delivering 700 hours of social-emotional learning and character development training to the out-of-school time field by the end of June in an effort to strengthen the capacity of the field to support youth. CalSAC is now reporting that they only have 386 hours to achieve their 700 hour goal! Investment in professional development training is even more important at this time when staff may be struggling to respond to the needs of the communities they serve. Help CalSAC accomplish their goal by requesting one of the 38 training modules for your agency, attend a regional training in your area, or start a professional learning community of your own!
