CARE Program Director

The CARE Program Director is responsible for the development and
implementation of the Buchanan YMCA Center for Academic Re-Entry
and Empowerment Program. The Program Director will work closely
with our partnering San Francisco Unified School District (SFUSD)
Teachers, Counselors, and Administrators. The collaboration
between the YMCA and SFUSD will focus on meeting the needs of
youth by creating and supporting individual action plans towards
graduation.
The Program Director will have direct oversight and supervision
of all aspects of the program, staff, and community partner and
funder relationships. The Program Director will have direct
contact with SFUSD, the Department of Children Youth and their
Families (DCYF), the Mayor’s Office of Criminal Justice (MOCJ),
Juvenile Probation Department (JPD), San Francisco Police
Department (SFPD), and all other CARE partners.
