The California Afterschool Advocacy Alliance launched the Save Afterschool Campaign. Recent findings outline the challenges that California’s After School Education and Safety (ASES) are confronted with due stagnant funding in the face of rising costs. The Save Afterschool Campaign provides information on how individuals and organizations can work to sustain the ASES program. As a result of the campaigns efforts, a bill (AB 2663) has been introduced to increase the ASES daily rate and include an ongoing cost of living adjustment. The Campaign is currently seeking your stories!
