Alliance for a Healthier Generation
Works with schools, youth-serving organizations, businesses, and communities to empower kids to develop lifelong healthy habits by ensuring the environments that surround them provide and promote good health.

California Healthy Kids Resource Center
Provides assistance to school districts and county offices of education as a source of comprehensive information about health-related research and instructional materials to support effective programs for students.

California Project LEAN
Leaders Encouraging Activity and Nutrition)

California Project LEAN (Leaders Encouraging Activity and Nutrition) (CPL) is a joint program of the California Department of Public Health and the Public Health Institute focusing on youth empowerment, policy and environmental change strategies, and community-based solutions. CPL’s mission is to increase healthy eating and physical activity to reduce the prevalence of obesity and chronic diseases such as heart disease, cancer, stroke, osteoporosis, and diabetes.
