2026 Site Coordinator Symposium
February 4, 27-28, 2026

We are excited to announce the 9th Annual 2026 Site Coordinator Symposium, taking place in Long Beach, CA. Presented by the California AfterSchool Network, in partnership with the Site Coordinator Network, and supported by the California Department of Education Expanded Learning Division.

The Symposium will continue to feature content dedicated to the growth, development, and success of Site Coordinators and Direct-Service staff. Additionally, it will discuss how Leadership can create systems and supports to enhance their success and overall program quality. Join us for capacity-building opportunities, networking, community-building, and a great time! The Site Coordinator Symposium will offer both virtual and in-person engagement opportunities.

Registration Details

The Site Coordinator Symposium welcomes all participants and is dedicated to supporting Site Coordinators and Direct-Service staff in Expanded Learning and Out-of-School-Time (OST) programs.

When available, registration tickets labeled “Site Coordinator” are discounted for individuals serving in a direct-service role in an EXL/OST program 80% or more of the time, either in a ratio or directly.

Note: The presenter Rates outlined above apply to up to three presenters per workshop. The registration rates will be waived if any of the three presenters are Site Coordinators. Workshops may have more than three presenters, but they will be required to pay the applicable non-presenter registration rates.

Hybrid Registration includes all Virtual and In-Person items listed above.

Hotel Accommodations

Hilton long beach hotel with palm trees at the entranceThe 2026 Site Coordinator Symposium is excited to announce the official hotel room block at the Hilton Long Beach. We anticipate the hotel room block will sell out and will share information about nearby hotels as needed. 

  • Event dates: February 25, 2026 – February 28, 2026
  • Rates starting at $236 per night. 
  • The deadline to book is January 24, 2026

Interested in Presenting a Workshop?

Make an impact - workshop RFP promoWe are especially seeking presentations from Site Coordinators! If a Site Coordinator is new to presenting, CAN is here to help and will provide resources to support the development of their presenting/facilitation skills.

We are also interested in workshops led by those in leadership positions who support site coordinators, as well as those that will build the capacity of site coordinators and other attendees. Our goal is to offer workshops designed to build capacity and share promising practices that promote & enhance high-quality Expanded Learning (before-school, after-school, and summer) and Out-of-School Time (OST) Programs for children, youth, and families in California.

Refund, Postponement, and Cancellation Policy

All ticket registrations are final. This means registration tickets cannot be canceled, and payments are non-refundable. All invoices must be paid within (30) days of registration. Registrations are subject to our terms and conditions.

Refunds

Due to the costs and materials associated with conferences, we cannot cancel registration tickets or issue refunds. If you are unable to attend, we will allow someone else to take your place at the conference.
